Cactus Flower' shows through Saturday
The Willits Community Theatre presents the second main stage extravaganza of its 30th season, complete with old friends and new comedic delights. Directed by Ian Stigliani this witty play is proving to be a real crowd pleaser. A fun romantic farce, elegantly spun by Abe Burrows, "Cactus Flower" is a feel good play about the hazards of getting in too deep -- and running out of life preservers. When Julian, dentist extraordinaire, tries to save his relationship with a young impressionable woman named Toni, he goes to any length. Including enlisting his nurse, Stephanie and his friend, Harvey. Problem is Julian is attempting to fix a lie that is essentially, a lie. How will he go about getting out of this precarious position and keep his integrity intact? Playing Julian Winston is WCT favorite Christopher Martin, last seen in the stage reading of Educating Rita.
Spring Flowers from Interflora Make the Perfect Floral Gift this ...
With so many beautiful spring flowers available this month, Interflora's inspiring selection of seasonal flower arrangements, hand-tied bouquets and planted spring baskets means customers are spoilt for choice when choosing flowers for Easter. (PRWEB) March 30, 2007 -- It is thought that Easter originally started life as a pagan festival in celebration of the spring and of birth, with the name Easter coming from Eostre, an Ago-Saxon goddess of spring to whom the month of Eosturmonath, our modern day April was dedicated. Whilst some scholars have suggested that an alternative translation of Estor-monath means 'the month of opening' or 'the month of new beginnings', one indisputable fact is that Easter has become as synonymous with spring flowers as it has with chocolate and bunnies, another famous symbol of fertility.
