Area flower club invites iris lovers to tour
The Inland Region Iris Society is offering flower lovers a tour this month of iris gardens from Jurupa to Banning. The April 21 Iris Trek will depart from Ontario and travel to places like the Jurupa Mountains Cultural Center, where participants can view beds of iris varieties including Daughter of Stars, Bowled Over and Before the Storm. The $50-per-person bus tour will also travel to Mira Loma, Grand Terrace and Nuevo, according to officials. .
